Born in Auburn,he was a son of the late Edward and Julia (Mitchell)
Dowling and had attended Auburn schools.
He worked in the Shipping and Receiving at Dunn and McCarthy in Auburn.
Mr.Dowling was an avid Yankees fan.
Surving are three brothers,Michael Dowling,Robert Dowling both of Auburn
and Walter(Sharon) Dowling of Oswego.
He was predeceased by his brother James Dowling.
Funeral services are private and at the convenience of the family.
There are no calling hours.
Arrangements are in care of the Dowdle Funeral Home.
