Alice was the daughter of Peter and Sophie Orel of Oswego, and had attended Oswego schools.
She was employed with McDonald’s Fashions for 25 years before retiring. She was a communicant of St. Paul’s Church,and was a member of The Legion of Mary, The Altar Rosary Society, and St. Paul’s Prayer Line. She touched many hearts, was always there to listen and always had a kind word for everyone that crossed her path. Her greatest joy was spending time with her friends, children, and grandchildren.
Surviving are one son, Joseph Krakowka (Cathleen) of Chicago; three daughters, Theresa Carter (Richard) of Georgia, Anne (Ray) Porter of Oswego and Margaret Nichols of Rochester; 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband of 46 years, Theodore A. Krakowka, in 1985; her sisters Victoria Jaskula and Patricia Fisher, of Oswego, and her brother, Albert Orel of Presque Isle, Wisconsin
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 from St.Paul's Church.
Burial will be in St.Peter's Cemetery.
